Pool Opening

Remove your Pool Cover.
Remove water, leaves and other debris before removing the cover using a siphon or submersible pump. Next, empty and remove cover.

Check your equipment.
Raise your water level to the top of your skimmer. Check your filter, pump and heater to ensure they are sealed properly and replace drain plugs as necessary.. Next remove any winterizing plug. Then prime your pump, turn on the filtration system and check for leaks.

Spring Clean Up.

Step #1 The sand in your sand filter should be changed completely every 3-4 years. On those years you are not changing the sand we recommend cleaning the sand in the filter with a product called "CLEAN" it is very easy to do and will allow your sand to be more effecient.

Step #2 Apply your Opening Chemicals. An "Open Kit" is the safest easiest way to do this. There are kits if your water is Clear. There are also kits for GREEN water and ones for Salt Water.

Step #3
Test your water.
Making sure your water is balance will ensure that your family enjoys many hours of safe and fun swimming this season…., and it also prevents your equipment from corrosion and scaling. Our Opening Kit contains everything you need to get your pool season off to a safe, healthy and happy start. Remember that we performing computerized water testing at NO CHARGE.


Step #4 Have a weekly treatment planned out. Choose 1 day or night each week to preform your weekly treatment. It is important to use your test strip first and make any adjustments to your PH or Alkalinity as needed. Than you add your 3 weekly chemicals. This should include your PUCKS, a NON-CHLORNATED SHOCK and your ALGICIDE.
