How to Check Hayward Salt Machine
Below is a test to verify if your Aqua Trol salt system is producing chlorine. This can be helpful in diagnosing any issues with the system.
- Turn pump off.
- Turn dial in white box of salt machine to 100%.
- Wait 30-60 sec.
- Look into return fitting – check for small white bubbles.
If there are bubbles – the salt machine is functioning properly!
If there are NOT any bubbles – the salt machine may not be generating chlorine. Verify the salt reading on the display is within the required range of 2700-3400ppm.
